Screening faqs

Where can I get resources to help me host a screening?

All of the resources you need can be found on this website including a screening toolkit, press kit and educational toolkit.

Can I ask for donations to see the film?

Yes! You are welcome to use the film as a fundraiser.

Do I pay for shipping?

Not for a one-time screening - you'll be emailed a secure download link to the film. If you are from an educational institution and order an educational DVD, there is a Physical Copy Fee of $25 to cover the costs of replication, shipping and handling.

I’m looking for a copy to show in a school, university or library. Am I on the right page?

If you want a one-time screening, you are on the right page. If you want a DVD that can be screened unlimited times at your institution, please visit the Education page.

Can the filmakers come to my screening?

The filmakers and/or one of the experts or cast may be able to attend your screening depending on the location and timing. If the screening is outside of Vancouver, you will be asked to cover travel costs in order for one of the filmmakers to attend. Please contact Patti at dccreative@shaw.ca for more information.

A credit union representative may also be able to attend. For more information, contact anewconomyfilm@gmail.com.
